An Introduction to Core Game Loop(s)
The core "loops" of this game absolutely suck.
Game Design Background: Core/Inner Game Loops
The “Core Loop(s)” (or “inner loops”) of a game are the repeated activity that you do over and over again in the game. Fire the bird at the pigs. Match 3 same-color squares. Plant seeds and harvest them.
Like I said, this game's core loops are terrible. They mostly involve literally sticking needles into your kid all the time. Let's review them, one by one in the next few posts.
